NNG Monthly Workday

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008  9 am to noon
Nipomo Native Garden, intersection of Camino Caballo & Osage

The Garden is currently in disarray along Camino Caballo as the County is extending a flood control pipeline from a retention pond near Primrose down into the Garden. Winter overflows will add water to the Garden and potentially make our wetland a vernal pool during wet Winters. We are also anticipating the project will improve our Osage road access and do some grading and leveling in designated areas.

Our fences may be down, however the Garden still is accessible and needs our TLC. We hope to see you at the upcoming Volunteer's Workday.

Our tasklist includes:

Volunteers should brings gloves, hand tools, shovels, drinking water, and rain gear to help you stay dry.
